I just finished posting everyone's blog address to my blog page, and I had a good time reading yoru blogs and learning more about you. I enjoyed the photos and the creative blog titles. As we talked today about time management skills, I keep thinking about all the mistakes I made in managing my time and my study habits in college. I would read my assignments on my bed and then wonder why I couldn't stay awake. I crammed for tests, as I mentioned, and then I didn't remember anything the next semester. I wish I had had a course like this in my first semester because some of the things we're teaching, I didn't really learn until GRADUATE school.
And I've got to develop better strategies for learning names. Handing back papers is the best way for me to learn names, but it still takes a while. Hmmmm. I wonder if there's anything in our Converse 101 curriculum about that.
